Aquatics

The aquatic facilities in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach are considered state-of-the-art competitive venues. Each facility has a Recreation Center with a gymnasium, workout room, restrooms, and meeting space.

Centennial Park Aquatic Center can accommodate ten fifty-meter lanes or seventeen twenty-five-yard lanes, with one- and three-meter diving boards. Both the long and short course have starting blocks, a video scoreboard, bleachers, ample deck space and shade structures. The pool house includes restrooms with showers and lockers, a pump and control room, office, and storage space.

Ann & Chuck Dever and South County Regional Parks have eight twenty-five-yard lanes and an attached separate dive well equipped with a one-meter diving board.

Whether you’re considering hosting a meet or training camp, each pool is geo-thermally heated and cooled for year-round use, which provides optimum opportunity to train during the winter months.

COMING SOON: Port Charlotte Beach Park Pool is expected to reopen in early 2027 with 54% more water capacity than the previous pool, expanding from 65,000 to 140,000 gallons and adding lap lanes. The updated facility will also feature a convenient check-in area, locker rooms, multiple restrooms, office and storage space, a break room, and new restrooms.
