Our area boasts several traditional art galleries that showcase the abundance of local talent in the area. Explore treasures galore in all types of media, from pottery and painting to jewelry and kitchen wares, and everything in between.

In addition to our classic art galleries, we have a few that redefine the term: 

There’s a magical place that combines two awe-inspiring experiences—a beautiful botanical garden and a world-class outdoor sculpture art gallery—into one spectacular walk: The Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens. Not only is the art collection always expanding, but they also host a variety of national and international traveling exhibits. One such exhibit is Zimsculpt, which was featured in 2022, and which will return in 2025.

Punta Gorda has art on display every day, courtesy of the Punta Gorda Historic Mural Society with the 30+ murals painted throughout the city. If you miss the guided tour of the murals, you can also access an audio tour with Otocast, a downloadable app.

For art you can feel green about, visit The Hatch Gallery in Port Charlotte to discover all manner of Florida creatures and themes rendered on repurposed materials alongside more traditional pieces.
