No matter what time of the year you visit—and whatever your interests—you'll usually find an annual event in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach to thrill and delight you.
Two of our annual events—the Florida International Air Show and Gardens Aglow by the Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens—have been designated "Signature Events of the Southeast" by the Southeast Tourism Society. This organization selects up to only 20 events from the many submitted by the 13 member states and the District of Columbia.
Our annual festivals and celebrations run the gamut from foodie event to huge sporting events like Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training.
You'll also find enriching arts and crafts shows featuring artists from across the country, beautiful and touching holiday happenings, one of the most famous Saint Patrick's Day events in the region, and so much more.
