Punta Gorda Boat Ramps

Boating is in our blood. Being surrounded by so many bodies of water—a gulf, a harbor, two rivers and hundreds of canals—makes it a popular activity for locals and visitors alike. Whether you boat to relax, sightsee, fish, or party, you’ll find it all here. And getting out on the water is easy in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach.

Our prime location on the Southwest Florida coast along the Gulf of Mexico and wrapped around Charlotte Harbor where the Peace and Myakka Rivers meet means there are a lot of options.Boats at Laishley Marina

If you motor or sail your boat to our area and want to keep it in the water during your stay you’ll find several full-service marinas to dock your vessel. These full-service facilities can offer services such as dockage, food and drink, ice, fuel, and more.

If you trailer your boat to our area, you’ll find about a dozen public boat ramps scattered across the destination in Englewood, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Most likely, there is one close to where you’re staying. We also have several private marinas that also have ramps for launching your boat. The cost to launch at these public ramps is minimal, in the form of a parking fee.
