Veterans Day Events

Vietnam Wall of Southwest Florida

The Charlotte County Veterans Day Parade usually happens the weekend before Veterans Day, and typicallys travles from the Port Charlotte Beach Park to Willam R. Gaines Veterans Memorial Park via Harbor Boulevard and Edgewater Boulevard.

Florida West Coast Car Club typically hosts their annual Veterans Car Show at the Vietnam Memorial Wall of Southwest Florida the weekend before Veterans Day with a short memorial service, trophies, live music, food, and more.  

Laishley Park is usually adorned with hundreds of US flags for the Healing Field of Honor.

The Gulf Theater at the Military Heritage Museum always has a Veterans Appreciation Show, often a fun USO-style show. Veterans always receive 20% off tickets.
