Labor Day Weekend:
There's usually a big to-do over the Labor Day weekend. In 2025, the Battle of the Bands & Food Truck Throwdown at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds held center stage, so keep this holiday on your radar for next year!

Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens is proud to present Origami in the Garden, a unique and internationally celebrated exhibition exploring the ancient art of paper folding as translated into large-scale metal sculpture. Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy - Chapter Two

The last time the Speakeasy opened in Port Charlotte, it was a rousing success, so they're back for a chilling chapter two! This is a 4-part cocktail experience centered on the haunting tales of Poe, and it's like nothing you've ever experienced.

The Punta Gorda History Park Market, Sundays, 9 am–1 pm, features some produce but the focus is on art, antiques, original food products, pet accessories and treats, etc.
The weekly Wine & Craft Beer Tastings by Punta Gorda Chocolate & Wine is the perfect place to explore new vintages and brews, and maybe find your new favorite!
