Grab those earplugs and pack the binoculars for a thrilling weekend of all things aviation with the Florida International Airshow which celebrates the past, present, and future of aviation in Southwest Florida, November 1 and 2, 2025.

 

In the Sky

  • Randy Ball and the MiG-17 team 
  • Aaron Deliu from Australia performing jaw-dropping aerial acrotatics om his Extra 330SC
  • A pair of North American SNJ Texans—SNJ is a United States Navy designation for the North American T-6 Texan advanced trainer aircraft;S for "Scout," N for "trainer," and J for the manufacturer—will perform stunning formation aerobatics. These large planes have a distinctive growl and a fantastic smoke presentation.
  • Florida local Doug Litton uses a German-built Extra 300-S, an aircraft renowned for its agility and designed for extreme aerobatics, so you won't want to miss him.

 

On the Ground 

The Mooney AnomolyBetween acts, visitors can check out the ground exhibits, from military aircraft open for tours to the latest aerospace technology to the STEM pavilion, which is sure to thrill students, educators, and aviation enthusiasts alike. Visitors can interact with virtual reality goggles, see drones in action, or witness robots being used in agriculture. Demonstrations run from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Sunday. 

Visitors can also see "The Old Crow," a Boeing Stearman biplane famed for its resilience and charm. Originally a U.S. Navy trainer in the 1940s, this aircraft transitioned through multiple careers—from military service to crop dusting—before being restored to its classic livery. Owned and operated by Bryan Miller, "The Old Crow" is now a celebrated part of airshow history.

“Gracie,” a Waco YMF-5C biplane built in 2000, combines 1930s design with modern reliability. Operated by Suncoast Biplanes, Gracie offers open-cockpit flights over Florida’s Gulf Coast, allowing fans of aviation to relive the golden age of flight.

 

Food and Drink 

There will be carnival-type food and drinks available for purchase. Keep in mind that no outside food or drink is allowed. 

 

Tickets and Parking 

Aaron Deliu's Extra 330SCThe gates open at 9 am and the flying starts at noon. Parking is included in the admission price and there are several parking lots surrounding the airport. Use this map to find the best spot. 

There are a variety of tickets available: 

  • Adult (13+) $66.84
  • Child (2-12): $23.58
  • Senior (62+): $60.35
  • Veteran or Active Duty Military: $60.35

Please note: general admission tickets do not include seating, so either bring your own or you can rent a chair for the day at $15 per person/per chair. Families might want a stroller or wagon to walk around.


Airshow Must-Haves 

The air show is an all-day affair so pack those sun hats, umbrellas, and plenty of sunscreen! Ear protection, as previously mentioned, is a must, as is staying hydrated. Wet wipes are always helpful, especially if you're enjoying the show with children.
