Holiday Lights Boat Tours

During the holidays, homeowners along the canals of Punta Gorda go all-out decorating the backs of their homes, even some docks and boats, and their de-“light”-ful creations are only visible from the deck of a boat...which is where Christmas Lights tours come in. You'll find fun cruises for the entire month of December with King Fisher Fleet, Cruisin' Tikis Charlotte Harbor. Punta Gorda Adventures, and Red Tiki Tours!

Parties and Events

Creative events pop up everywhere over the holidays, courtesy our great local businesses, and then there are traditions you can't miss, like the Festival of Lights at Fish ermen’s Village, the Light Up The Night: Downtown Punta Gorda Christmas Tree Lighting and Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens events, like the Jingle & Jam Music Festival they threw in 2025.

Christmas Parade

The 2025 downtown Punta Gorda Christmas Parade was "Elf Village Celebration," which was fun for all. Who knows what they'll come up with next?

Charlotte Players

The Charlotte Players can always be counted on to put on a funny, sometimes bawdy, and always touching holiday show! Keep an eye out for 2025's offering!

The Gulf Theater at the Military Heritage Museum

The Gulf Theater at the Military Heritage Museum always presents a variety of Christmas shows! This year's fun included fun stuff like A Dolly Parton Christmas featuring Karen Hester.

The Symphonic Winds of Charlotte County

Each year, the Symphonic Winds of Charlotte County present a holiday concert. In 20205, they presented Joyful World, a program celebrating both Christmas and Hanukka, with a variety of traditional selections with a few fun twists.

The Charlotte Chorale

The Charlotte Chorale's annual concert in 2025 was Let Heaven and Nature Sing, which featured both sacred and secular Christmas melodies.

The Florida Philharmonic

Always presents a holiday-themed concert, which was Home for the Holidays in 2025, a by-request repeat of the previous year's most-popular concert. The program included selections from Handel's The Messiah, The Nutrcracker Suite, and more.

Visani Italian Steakhouse & Comedy Theater

You never want to miss the Elvis Christmas Show at Visani Italian Steakhouse and Comedy Theater. This annual traditional features one of the top Elvis Tribute Artists in the world, Dwight Icenhower, who embodies The King in this special holiday show that will warm your heart.

Enchanted Holiday Experience

The Charlotte County Fairgrounds hosted the Enchanted Holiday Circus throughout December. Festivities included a holiday lights drive through, a Santa's Village, and the amazing Holiday Circus.
