Easter Activities
This is where Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach really gets fun. IguanaLand hosted its signature Iguana Egg Hunt, which is exactly as delightful as it sounds, with two hunt sessions drawing families throughout the day. The Easter Bunny made appearances at Fishermen's Village across multiple weekends, welcoming kids, grown-ups, and well-behaved pups alike. Kidstar Park and the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall hosted Easter Bunny visits as well.
Next year, keep an eye on local event listings and this blog post as Easter approaches. These events tend to come back reliably, but dates and details shift each season.

Easter FAQs
Back to Top of List
When is Easter Sunday in 2027?
In 2027, Easter Sunday falls on March 28.
Why is Easter Sunday always a different date?
Easter is calculated as the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox.
For the purposes of that calculation, the Church fixed the equinox at March 21, and since the lunar calendar and our standard (Gregorian) calendar don't quite line up, Easter can land anywhere from March 22 to April 25.
