When is Mother's Day 2026?
When it's time to let the moms and maternal figures in your life know how much they’re appreciated, treat them (and yourself!) to a visit to Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach for a wide array of fun activities and events, scrumptious meals, and quality time to appreciate each other.

The following restaurants have been known to offer Mother's Day Brunches and often, weekend-long specials. Reservations are usually required so please contact the individual restaurants for details:

It's also great to just enjoy a drink and a nice conversation in a beautiful setting. You'll find the perfect atmosphere for a wind-down at unWined Wine & Beer Bar, Punta Gorda Chocolate & Wine, Downtown Kava, or Perch 360 atop the Wyvern Hotel.
Adventures Mom Will Love
As they're planned and promoted, we'll add Mother's Day centered events, but in the meantime, here's an overview of previous events to give you an idea of the kind of fun stuff that's typically offered:
Mom got to choose her own gift from a variety of unique vendors in a beautiful setting at the Mother's Day Delight event at Founder's Square at Babcock Ranch.
The Yoga Sanctuary offered Calm & Connected: A Special Mother's Day Event and Loving Light Yoga organized Mother's Day Celebration.
There was a Mother's Day Arts and Crafts Fair at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda.
Anytime Fun
If mom or anyone else in the party is a pickleball player, they’ll be very happy with the options in the area, from our crown jewel, the Pickleplex® of Punta Gorda, to easy drop-in courts from one end of our area to the other. Or, if someone wants to golf, they’ll find over 15 beautiful courses to enjoy.
Beach time is always great, no matter if you’re lazing in the sun, swimming, or collecting shells and fossilized shark teeth. Bonus: there are great restaurants within walking distance of Englewood Beach, our main sand-and-surf spot.
Theater & Entertainment
Nothing beats the energy of a live stage performance! Treat mom to live music at many of our restaurants and keep an eye out for special events like these:
The Grill at 1951 presented a special Mother's Day Lunch with live music and Visani Italian Steakhouse and Comedy Theater is offered a special Mother's Day comedian.
Whatever you do for those special people on this special day, we're sure you'll all have a great time in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach!
