Fall is fantastic in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach! The air gets just a bit cooler, but the water stays warm and the beaches are uncrowded, so it’s the perfect time to go for a swim, find some pretty shells, and laze on a beautiful beach. The earlier sunsets means plenty of evening left after the sky show to eat, drink, and be merry with amazing cuisine and live music everywhere.Closeup of seafood tower and colorful cocktail at Farlow's on the Water in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach

One of our Fall signature events is the annual Let’s Eat, Englewood Restaurant Week, running September 15–29, 2022. Participating restaurants offer three course dinners for $32 and two course lunches for $17. Indulge in everything from authentic Italian to upscale seafood and steak to American classics and so much more.

October is spooky season and you’ll enjoy all of the Halloween happenings every weekend from October 21st to the 31st at Halloween Notte at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds. With pony rides, bounce houses, a haunted house, axe throwing, zombie paintball, and much more, the whole family will find something entertaining.

Head over to Fishermen's Village on Oct. 29 for Trick-or-Treating through the Village, costume contests, and the Zombie Prom at Village Brewhouse.

For those of you that will be visiting during November, you’ll also find a good number of restaurants open on Thanksgiving—some offering hearty buffets—to make that most famous of meals relaxing and delicious.

Our leaves may not change color much, but Fall in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach more than makes up for that with warm water, beautiful sunsets and cool evenings, tropical vibes, and plenty to do. Start planning your fun fall visit now.
