Spooky season in Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach means the air gets just a bit cooler, but the water stays warm and the beaches are uncrowded. This means lots of fun during the day and plenty of time in the evening after the sun sets to find fun things to do for Halloween

Halloween Notte

The annual Halloween Notte event at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds is fun for all! With three weekends of festivities in October, leading up to Halloween night, you can go again and again. They typically offer pony rides, bounce houses, a haunted house, axe throwing, zombie paintball, and much more. The whole family will love it!
 

Halloween Parties

Downtown Kava's Epic Haunted Halloween Party takes place Saturday, October 26, 7 pm–midnight. Start planning now: costumes are mandatory.

Dean's South of the Border's party features The Outsiderz performing your favorite rock and dance hits from the '80s, '90s, and more! Join them Saturday, October 26, 8 pm–11:52 pm, and be prepared to dance.

The Celtic Ray Public House is featuring music from Tru Phonic for their Halloween Party. The fun starts at 9 pm on Thursday, October 31.

TT's Tiki Bar always does something for spooky season, and it's pretty much guaranteed to feature live music. 

Other "likely suspects" when it comes to Halloween parties include The Twisted Fork and the History Park Market, so keep an eye out.

Have a blast every weekend in October (Friday through Sunday) at the Pumpkin Patch! With a petting zoo, bounce houses, hayrides, the Treat Barn, pumpkins (of course), and more, Prana Farms in Punta Gorda will be the place to go for family-friendly Halloween fun! Opening weekend is October 4–6, so start planning now!

Cedar Point is hosting their Spooktacular Halloween Haunted Trails Event, every Saturday in October, 2024, 6–9 pm. With haunted trails, food trucks, speakers, live animals, crafts, costume contests and more, this is the place for spooky family fun. Note: the trails are geared for younger kids from 6 to 7 pm and will get scarier as it gets darker. 

Enhance your trip with a Haunts of History Tour of Punta Gorda, every Saturday evening in October. You'll explore beautiful downtown Punta Gorda and hear true stories of paranormal activities.
