As we're reminded every May during National Safe Boating Week, every person who sets foot on a boat of any kind is encouraged to wear a life jacket.
To help ensure that everyone aboard a boat is safe, there are free life jacket loaner stations across the area.
These life jacket stations are provided and maintained by Sea Tow and The Peace River Sail and Power Squadron and provide only Coast Guard-approved life jackets that are available to use while boating.
Whether you're renting a boat or heading out on your own vessel, you can stop by one of the stations below, borrow the life jackets you need, have a great time on the water, then return them when you're done!
