Veterans Memorials
There are two beautiful Memorial locations located in Charlotte County.
The Vietnam Memorial Wall of Southwest Florida, at Veterans Park in Punta Gorda is a half scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Veteran's Memorial Park located near Rotonda (Englewood area) at G.C. Herring Park is "dedicated to every man, woman and child who unselfishly gave their lives." It features a memorial for each American conflict as well as memorial plaques specifically honoring Charlotte County veterans.

In 2017, Veteran's Memorial Park was added featuring beautiful memorials to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Also features basketball courts, picnic area, playground, shuffleboard, running track and restrooms and specially-designed area for remote control vehicle racing.

The Vietnam Memorial Wall of Southwest Florida is a half-scale (approximate) replica of the wall in Washington, D.C. This beautiful installation is dedicated to the men and women who gave their lives in the Vietnam War. Located in Laishley Park in downtown Punta Gorda.
