Golden Krust Port Charlotte was established in 2006 in Charlotte County FL. In 2015 we moved to our new location in Village Market Place Shopping Center and had our grand opening in November. Golden Krust was originally a bakery based out of New York. It was founded in 1989 by Lowell Hawthorne and his family. Golden Krust headquarters is located in the Bronx, NY. It has 5 locations in the Central Florida region, a total of 28 restaurants in the state of Florida and currently has more than 120 stores and restaurants nationwide.
Golden Krust Port Charlotte was opened with the idea of providing a new flavor to the area apart from Italian and American food.
This is the only Golden Krust with dining plates and silver utensils.
We strive to bring the best quality food mix with our savory Caribbean flavor, great hospitality and atmosphere. Reggaefest meals, which include curried goat or chicken, snapper and braised oxtails, are prepared from scratch daily. Diners have a choice of sides: rice and peas (kidney beans to non-islanders) or white rice, steam vegetables and plantains.
