Canal Cruise: Lit Boat

Holidays on the Harbor

Holidays at TTs TikiHolidays--  Southwest Florida Gulf coast style:

Most places throughout the world have Holiday traditions, and though some may "do the holidays" up better than others, there tend to be similarities like Christmas parades and competing with your neighbors to see which house can best be seen from space.

There are certain things you'll find here that you won't necessarily find most other places.  In Punta Gorda, for example, a majority of residents live on the waterfront. Residents decorate BEHIND their houses-- on the waterway-- which creates a visually stunning way to see the holiday lights. In coastal Florida, it's also quite common to see lighted boat parades in addition to traditional "main street" holiday parades.  Oh, and you can build a snowman here too... just far less freezing and no winter gloves required...  with sand... as you’re relaxing at the beach.

Holidays - FishermenFrom the Christmas light canal cruises in Punta Gorda, to the many lighted boat parades throughout the area- the holidays in Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Islands will generate memories for years to come. And be sure not to miss Fishermen's Village in Punta Gorda, which might be lit better than Las Vegas this time of year.

Below you will find a plethora of Holiday activities sure to delight those young and young-at-heart alike.
