PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (March 6, 2020) – Snowbird Baseball welcomes the Army West Point Black Knights to the Snowbird Baseball Classic with games beginning Friday, March 6 at Centennial Park, formerly called North Charlotte Regional Park (1185 O’Donnell Blvd, Port Charlotte, Fla.). Army plays Western Michigan University at 11 a.m. on March 6 and the University of Illinois at Chicago 11:30 a.m. on March 7.
On March 7 at 10:30 a.m., the U.S. Army will hold a swearing-in ceremony for future soldiers. Army will set up an information tent during this game. Additional games are scheduled for March 8, 10, and 11 at North Charlotte Regional Park. Of local interest, Kevin Dubrule is a freshman on the Army team and played on the Venice High School baseball team last year which won the state championship.
Tickets for these and all Snowbird Baseball Classic games are available at the respective parks on the day of each game for $10. Active and retired military personnel receive free admission with a military identification for each West Point game, March 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11. In addition, active and retired military personnel receive free admission to every game played on Wednesdays during the tournament.

of the community and the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners, we have grown the Snowbird Baseball Classic to be one of the top tournaments in the country. This is an opportunity to see some of tomorrow’s major league stars,” said Steve Partington, president of Snowbird Baseball LLC.
Snowbird Baseball Classic runs through March 22, 2020, at both Centennial and South County Regional Parks in Charlotte County.
