CHARLOTTE HARBOR & THE GULF ISLANDS, Fla. (March 03, 2015) – Nominations are being accepted through April 3, 2015, for the 2015 Charlotte County Tourism Hall of Fame. Established in 2014, the Charlotte County Tourism Hall of Fame was created to honor people whose body of work in support of Charlotte County tourism has been both exceptional and diverse.

Criteria for the 2015 Charlotte County Tourism Hall of Fame Nominees are:

  • Nominee may be living or deceased
  • Nominee must be of exemplary character.
  • Nominee’s contributions to Charlotte County tourism must span 10 or more years.

Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015, by using the simple online form found at

A panel of judges composed of representatives from various aspects of the tourism industry and each geographic area of Charlotte County will review the nominations.

The inductee will be honored during the Friday, May 15, 2015, Charlotte County Tourism Breakfast being held at the Englewood Event Center.
