Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach, FL  - Englewood Beach Waterfest is back, and this year’s event promises to be one for the record books! The Englewood Beach Waterfest (EBW) Board of Directors is excited to announce that North Myrtle Beach (NMB) RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina will be the 2021 Keystone Sponsor of the event scheduled for November 18-21, 2021 in Englewood, Florida. "We can’t begin to describe the amount of energy and enthusiasm we are experiencing here in Englewood, with the announcement of our partnership with the owners and team at NMB!" said Ray LaBadie,1st Vice-President of the EBW Board of Directors.

“Our entire organization has been working hard to build on the momentum we experienced from the record-breaking event in 2019, and we know this year is going to be epic! With all the support from our board, volunteers, and the local and expanded community, we are seeing levels of excitement and engagement that are momentous!” stated Steve Gardiner, President of the EBW Board of Directors.

Waterfest’s network of volunteers has expanded over the years to include hundreds of dedicated individuals, who tirelessly donate thousands of hours to organize the multiple community activities that are associated with the Top 20 Southeast Tourism Society (STS) event every year. The week culminates with the keystone feature, the OPA World Championship Powerboat Race, with record numbers of boat teams and event attendees expected at this year’s race.

"North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina is absolutely thrilled to be the Keystone Sponsor of the 2021 and 2022 Englewood Beach Waterfest and OPA World Championship Powerboat Races. This is the first opportunity we have had to be partnered with such an established event", stated Jenn Johnson, NMB Marketing Director. "NMB will be entering our boat in this year's OPA race, as our boating team is looking forward to competing in a safe and fun environment. The opportunity to be the Keystone Naming Sponsor is a progressive step for NMB RV Resort, since we opened in 2018. As we continue to expand our location, we are adding new amenities, supporting our boating team and now becoming the Keystone Naming Sponsor of Waterfest. This means so much to our family-owned business.” Johnson further added.

The EBW Board and team of volunteers have successfully executed two Poker Run events this year, the first in March in the Punta Gorda area, with another Pirate-themed Poker Run recently executed on Saturday, September 18th. With all the excitement surrounding these events, the organization is anticipating another record-setting Waterfest attendance this November.
